WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Near East, South Asia, Central Asia and Counterterrorism, on Wednesday strongly condemned Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s anti-Semitic remarks:

“I strongly condemn Turkish President Erdogan’s anti-Semitic remarks. Such comments are incendiary at a moment we need to decrease tensions, not ratchet them up. We must combat anti-Semitism in all its forms, whenever and wherever it occurs,” said Murphy.
