HARTFORD—U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) on Wednesday released his year-end report outlining the work he’s done for Connecticut residents throughout 2019. Murphy worked hard to find common ground on issues that matter most to Connecticut, like protecting Americans from gun violence, strengthening and expanding our health care laws, boosting innovation and manufacturing, strengthening our national security, and securing critical investments for Connecticut.

“It’s the honor of my life to serve the people of Connecticut in the United States Senate,” said Murphy. “Every day, I try to fight as hard as I can for the things people in Connecticut care about. I don't win every time, but even amidst the partisan clutter of this last year, I was able to secure a bunch of big wins for Connecticut. And of course, the only way I know what to fight for is to be listening to the people I represent every day—so I hope this report will give people a sense that their input matters and often results in legislation passing that addresses the issues they raise with me.”
