HARTFORD–U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) released his year-end report outlining the work he’s done for Connecticut residents during 2022:
“2022 was Congress’s most productive year in decades. Personally, I was able to pass nearly a dozen pieces of legislation I authored and introduced to help people in Connecticut. This report captures just a glimpse of everything we’ve been able to accomplish. Breaking a thirty year political logjam, we passed a historic piece of gun safety legislation that has already saved lives. We took action to lower drug costs, tackle the climate crisis, invest in mental health, supercharge American manufacturing, and deliver millions in federal funding for our state. It’s my honor to represent the people of Connecticut every day in the Senate, and I look forward to continuing to work together in 2023.”
